Hadith No.14
Abdullah bin Masud narrated that the messenger of Allah said :
"The blood of a Muslim may not be legally spilt other than in one of three [instances]: the married person who commits adultery; a life for a life; and one who forsakes his religion and abandons the community."

HADEETH FOURTEEN:14- SQUANDERING MAN’S BLOOD
1- Preservation of lineage against adultery.
2- Preservation of religion against distortion and change.
3- Preservation of life against aggression.
4- Islam has respected human life, protected it and has not spilt its blood unless it is deemed dangerous to society.
5- The blood of a Muslim may not be legally spilt other than in one of three instances:
a. The married person who commits fornication.
b. One who murders another.
c. One who forsakes his religion and abandons the Community of the believers.
